Just received these pictures from Bro. Kitley. The 1st one is of Frank when he was a young missionary with Gloria Cu (14 yrs) and her sister (12yrs.) A choice picture of Frank and Sister Coyoy Marin. Last picture when we drove away, they are standing in front of their house.

We arrived at the temple to go to the 9:00am session. What a JOY it was to met so many people that knew Frank when he was here in 1964-65. One lady told me Frank had baptised her husband when he was a young man, Amilcar Rau Robles. He was at work so they took Frank into the Temple Presidents office and called him and Frank talked to him on the phone. Frank also visited with their daughter, Astrid Robles, who is working in the distribution center on the temple grounds. Sister Cu(blue dress) was a Temple worker, and Patty and Hector went on the session with us. Sister Aurora said her mother had fixed lunch for all of us and invited us to her house. Frank wanted a picture of all these young women dressed in their colorful dress. They came to do baptisms.
Sister Gloria Cu had gifts for us. She gave Frank a wooden note paper holder with a beautiful picture of Guatemala on the front. She gave me a basket with a dollie that her daughter made. Next a group picture by the temple(Us, Kitleys, Gibbons, Halls). It is a very beautiful temple and a different layout from ours here in San Salvador. Before we left a man drove up on a motorcycle, Gerardo E. Arana. Then Sister Cu, Aurora, and Patty rode in our bus to direct us to their home for lunch.
Notice the wecome sign above Franks head, "Bienvenido a Casa"(Wecome to my home). Frank taught Brother and Sister Coyoy Marin and their family the gospel when he was a young missionary. When they heard their message, and started reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it they knew it was right and true. She kept thanking Frank for bringing the gospel to their family. Living the gospel has brought so much happiness into their families life and families are most important and she has her family forever because of the gospel.
The 1st picture is of Carlos, Jesus, and Orlando, part of the family. The middle one is taken of a picture of the husband of Sister Coyoy Marin. He passed away in 2010. They served us lunch of chicken, rice, tortillas, and tamales or combrays(a small sweet tamale). The family was so kind and loving to us it was a privilege to be in their home.
Before we left the Coyoy Marin family, Frank and the ladies sang the song, Luna de Xelaju or Moon over Quetzaltenango. Sister Gloria Cu road in our bus up the mountain to a restaurant and store where her son, Johathan was. She told her conversion story on the way. Then we headed for Lake Atitlan. It was hazy, but this is a picture of Lake Atitlan from a look out point.
