For lunch we went to Pizza Hut with the Lopezs' At night for family home evening we played the game family feud. We won the first game, then we rotated players, men against the women and the women lost both games. Then we switched couples and we lost the third time. It was a fun evening, even though Franks does not appear to be having fun. He came up with the most correct answers.

Busy Monday
"I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of neverending happiness." Mosiah 2:41
Baked a cake first thing this morning. Went to the Gringa Sisters brunch. We have a couple of new girls and they are living in a hotel with their small children until they can get into a house. Melissa told them to use the coffee pot to cook oatmeal, soup, vegtables. Then I went shopping and Frank went to the dentist. At night we were in charge of FHE. Pres. Petersens' birthday is the 17th so we honored him. We asked him questions about his life and Eileen recorded it. He will be 78 years old. We sure feel honored to be serving here in the temple with him.
More of Monday morning
In the group picture, the 2 on the right in front our the newest sisters. Sister Dobson and Sister Freestone. Middle picture is Melissa, baby 2 months old, and George. Next picture is Delana and her son. I admire these sisters who live down here with their young families. I am grateful for the church that brings us together.
It was raining good when we left the brunch. Of course Sister Petersen took a picture by Lisas' car because Lisa is so good to help us get around. Sister Gibbons, Lisa Wegkemp, Nancy Thompson, me, Arlene Kitley, Eileen Petersen in first picture and Sister Hall in second picture. The guys had gone out to eat lunch while we were out, so when they got back Pres. Petersen drove us to do our weekly shopping. When we came out of our apartment complex we met Sister Martinez (second from right). She is a temple worker or obrera.

Journey to La Palma
La Palma is the town of Ferdando Llort. The shirt I am wearing has his art work on it. We went to a factory and got pictures of a couple of ladies doing their art work, very bright colors and very detailed.

Easter Sunday
And now, beloved,...why not speak of the atonement of Christ, and attain to a perfect knowledge of him, as to attain to the knowledge of a resurrection and the world to come? Jacob 4:12
Sister Petersen fixed us an Easter cup filled with candy. The Gibbons fixed deviled eggs. They peeled the eggs then dyed them yellow, pink, orange, blue. The Thompsons made cheesy potatoes.
