Christmas Day

"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will
toward men." Luke 2:14

This was our Christmas day dinner with
the other temple missionaries.
Here we are playing the left and right game.
It was a fun evening.

Brigham Young's Home

My Joy was full at the
privilege of shaking the
hand of the Prophet of God
and receiving the sure testimony
by the spirit of prophesy, that he was
all that any man could believe him to
be as a prophet of God.
Brigham Young's testimony of Joseph Smith

Today we visited Brigham Young's home.  Pictures
of the kitchen and living areas.

Warsaw

"and they did cry mightily
to God; yea, even all the
day long." Mosiah 21:14

 We drove over to Warsaw.
We saw a lot of geese on both
sides of the road.

Sunday

On the way home from church
in Mt. Pleasant, we stopped at
the park and got a picture of
the temple across the river.
It is always a breath taking
sight to see.

Then we got a picture of this school built in 1830

We had dinner at President Smith's house.
The Barth's, the Taylor's, Smith's and Us.
A very pleasant Sunday.

Baptism and Christmas lights

Rachel Davis was baptized
2 Dec. 2017.  She helped her
husband, Aaron, return to
activity.  She was baptized
by her father-in-law, Mike Davis.
She has a beautiful testimony of the
truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.

That night we drove around the lights
that were set up in Ft. Madison park
Joy to The World

There was a big full moon sitting on the Temple.
