Our first Monday alone

"I say unto you that if ye should serve him who has created you from the beginning, and is preserving you from day to day, by lending you breath, that ye may live and move and do according to your own will, ...if ye should serve him with all your whole souls yet ye would be unprofitable servants." Mosiah 2:21

 

The Gibbons and Kitleys left Friday, so we are 3 couples. Thompsons had sunday dinner in their apartment because there is so much constrution noisy outside.  Monday we went to Shaws for lunch.

That night we had FHE.  Frank gave a lesson on inspiration.



Sunday Dinner Inside

Thompsons had the main course for Sunday Dinner.  She had dinner inside.  There is so much noise, dust and wind outside because of the construction going on next door behind us.  They have cut down all the trees, are leveling and moving the dirt to build houses.

Last Monday

We started the day with a gringa sisters brunch.  Delena Markland is expecting twins and confined to bed rest, so it was held at her house.  Me, Gibbons, Thompson, Petersen, (front) Kitley, Dawson, Freestone.  Then the missionaries went to Rustico for hamburgers.

 

That night was a farewell dinner for the Gibbons and Kitlekys.  Sister Estrada and her daughter 

prepared the food, pupusas, beans and rice.  Also the chocolate cake for dessert. 





The Montepeque family dance

 The Kitley's had the Montepeque family over for dinner.  They came prepared to dance and the Kitleys invited all of us to watch and enjoy. Mother Montepeque and her 2 daugthers.



Shopping

 We do are grocery shopping at Super Selectos and Walmart.  We put are purchases in boxes and use a shopping cart to get everything upstairs to our apartments.
