The Temple is closed for 2 weeks for cleaning and maintenance. Bro. Kitley planned a trip to Guatemala for the Senior missionaries. Petersens went to home to Utah and Idaho and the Thompsons have not received their visa yet so they were not able to go with us.
We left for Guatemala at 7:00am. Four couples went, Kitleys, Halls, Us, and Gibbons. We had a nice mini bus to ride in and a good driver, Rudy. The border crossing between El Salvador and Guatemala. A view of Guatemala City.
We made a stop at the Guatemala City Temple. Then we went to the area office and Bro. Arnold helped us change US dollars into Quetzales. Then went to Hotel Tikal. These beautiful flowers were on the table in the lobby.
