We went to a party Monday night at 4:00pm. As we entered the court yard of the house, there was a wall with orchids growing on it. The middle picture was a plant hanging from a beam. And there also were some beautiful roses. They also had a garden with green tomatoes on the plants.
Martin and Alicia Colina had a party for the temple missionaries. Other temple workers came and we all had a very enjoyable evening together. Frank is talking with Pres. Petersen before the party began.
Sister Colina had left her Christmas decorations up for us to enjoy. Alicia Colina is standing by the tree in the third picture. She speaks english because they lived in the states for a while.
First we got a group picture of the women and then a group picture of the men. Bishop Sosa sang for us while we ate.
There was music playing throughout the evening. Pres. and Sister Petersen got up and danced to the music. Also Brother and Sister Colina and others are dancing. Frank and Brother Garcia are trying to get paper plates into the plastic containers. Frank got it in 3-4 times and won,
We each brought a gag gift. We drew a name out of a basket and that is who we gave our gag gift to. Frank got a package of different size and shape of needles. I got two boxes of tic tacs. Each of us also brought a can good. She made five baskets full of can goods. She drew three names in a row. The first and second names were eliminated and the third name was a winner of a basket. We won a basket. Those that did not win, pretented to be upset. It was a great party with lots of fun, laughs, food and good people.
