I started the day off by baking some cookies for our gringa sister brunch. We met at Delana Marklands place. She is new here in El Salvador and the one on the far left in the picture. We had a good visit and good food and a cookie exchange. It is always a pleasure to meet with them.
Karla and Gabriel Mendez took us to the Catholic Cathedral for the festival of Guadelupe. The Kitleys walked with us also. There were lots of people. I am glad there was a cross walk across the street.
They bring flowers and put inside the cathedral. There was an Indian dressed up with a big indian head dress that we wanted to get a picture with, but we could not get his attention. We had our picture taken with this guard. I am standing in front of the display they have of the virgin Guadelupe.
At FHE we celebrated Eileen's birthday. Her birthday is 15th of December.
