Out and About in the City

We started the day by going to an artisan craft fair. There were many small booths and they all sold the same types of things. Then we drove around to different stores . We stopped for lunch at a Mexican restaurant. The men checked out the golf course and a hard ware store. It was nice of Lisa to take us around and we were able to see different parts of the area.

As we were waiting for the others to finish at the craft fair, Frank was teaching the young Oreallano boy how to flip a bottle cap. Frank bought himself a new baseball cap and gave his old one to the young man.

Here is our group standing under the sign for the restaurant. The first lady on the left is Lisa Wegkamp, she drove the ladies around. The man in blue was the driver for the men. We could not all fit in Lisas' car so we went in 2 separate vehicles. Brother Oreallano and his son are standing by Frank.

It was a fun Mexican Restrurant. I ordered a swiss taco. It had beef pieces and carmelized onions with lots of cheese on a tortilla. It came with beans and guacamole. I also had a strawberry fruit drink. They had a few chips with 7 different dips.

At family home evening, they presented an award. They inducted Frank into the baseball hall of fame because of his baseball fame as a young missionary in Guatemala. His award was this cute monkey made out of a coconut.
