We walked around the mall then met at the food court and tried the Argentine grill. We had a combination plate of beef steak, chicken, sausage, cooked vegetables and beans and rice.
We had the lesson this week. We held it in our apartment instead of the common room. It created a spirit of closeness, a spirit of family. Our lesson was on Elder Oaks talk Desire. We read scriptures from the Book of Mormon and talked about the importance of desire. Elder Oaks stated 3 things we should desire. 1- To achieve our eternal destiny, we will desire and work for the qualities required to become an eternal being. 2-All should desire and seriously work to secure a marriage for eternity. 3- All need righteous desires that will lead them to eternal life. I know Christ does live. Heavenly Father has a plan of happiness for us. The power of the Holy Ghost is real and we can be directed in our actions, feelings and become an eternal family. That is my Desire.
