How it all began...

On April 27, 2011, we received a phone call from Bishop McIntir. He said he needed to talk to us. He came over at 6:00 pm. He said he had received a call from the missionary department of the church and that the new Temple President for the new El Salvador Temple had requested us to serve as Temple Missionaries. The Temple will be dedicated August 21, and they want us down there by then. This was a shock and unexpected. He could not tell us the temple president because it had not been announced. After thinking and praying about it, we knew we could not pass up this opportunity to serve.
